Animal mascot costumes
Animals are the most requested category and the least forgiving one — people know instinctively how a bear's shoulders sit or how a rabbit's ears fall, and a bad pattern reads as wrong even to a child. We keep separate pattern libraries for quadruped-derived and humanoid animal builds, and we choose pile length per animal rather than using one fur for everything.
- Long-pile, short-pile and curly plush selected per species and per viewing distance
- Ear, tail and snout armatures that hold their shape through a full season
- Airbrushed shading on muzzles, paw pads and eye sockets for depth on camera
- Optional weighted tails and articulated ears for characters that need motion
- Fur direction planned across seams so the nap does not break at the shoulder
